Melody Kanschat, President, Los Angeles County Museum of Art-LACMA (Honorary Advisory Board Member)

Melody Kanschat is President of LACMA, the largest art museum in the western United States, and a museum of international stature as well as a vital part of Southern California’s civic landscape. Kanschat oversees a total annual expense budget of over $50 million and construction projects of over $140 million.

Hon. Pam O’Connor, Metro Board Chair (Honorary Co-Chair, Traffic Fighter of the Year Awards)

Currently the Chair of the Metro Board, Pam O’Connor has served on the Santa Monica City Council since 1994 and has served three times as Mayor.  She is a member of the SCAG Regional Council and is on the Board of the Local Government Commission.  She also serves on committees for the League of California Cities and the National League of Cities.  O’Connor works as a private consultant, specializing in historic preservation.

David Fleming, Chairman, Los Angeles County Business Federation) (Honorary Co-Chair, Traffic Fighter of the Year Awards)

The founding Chairman of BizFed, Fleming is Of Counsel with Latham & Watkins, and serves on the Metro Board. A corporate attorney for 43 years, he is current or past board chair of numerous organizations, including LAEDC, the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, VICA, and Valley Presbyterian Hospital. He co-chaired the successful LA City Charter reform movement and served as vice chair of the California Transportation Commission.
